Open wide!

Ten days ago, I posted a picture of a female blackbird sitting on a nest in our garden.
As you can see, two of the eggs have hatched.
You can just about make out the mum, so I guess there may be more mouths to feed soon!
We have spent quite a bit of the day trying to “fence off” the shrub so that cats, like our Mittens, will find it a bit of a challenge to get near them.
