Earth Day

Merry is modeling the button I got at the first Earth Day Celebration/Protest in Boston, 50 years ago when I was a mere 21. I remember it so vividly in an era of protests.

That's the Earth removed from my childhood globe stand, a neckerchief from a trip to the Grand Canyon along with my cherished button. Merry looks suitably serious.

This day came in cold with clouds, sun and a few snow flurries.
