Day 27. Balancing act

This lovely Egyptian Goose sat on my neighbour's roof for a long time contemplating life!!! Where is her other leg?? Tucked under  her body methinks. She is the wife(?) of the other Goose  and they live permanently in  my neighbour's garden. They build their nest every year in the Norfolk Pine tree and produce up to ten babies annually.
They are our daily alarm clocks with their  loud cries, but I do love them.
Grateful today for my wonderful neighbours, one who is celebrating her 80th birthday today. Sadly she can't have the big party she had planned, but cheers to her - a good excuse for an extra glass of wine tonight.
