I had non-vital but reasonably necessary business involving a post office, found the first one I went to temporarily even more shut than its suggested temporary Covid hours so diverted to one which sounded actually open, which it was. Middle Meadow Walk was not quite deserted and there were queues for a few shops around Newington but it didn't feel Saturday. I remembered that somewhere in my gaps there is a photo of the frontage of Vogue Video from around the time it closed, which it would have probably done by now due to lockdown even if it hadn't done so last year.
