Long Roots

Or, as the French translation allows - “Racines Longues”.  Wisteria flowers are called - in English - “Racines”.  Who knew?!  Well, actually, many people. But I’m writing it all the same. This display is near our house and the ‘man’ of the house came out as I was taking the picture. “What are you doing?” he said (always maintaining social distancing - of course).  I told him that the racines were amazing and asked what variety it was.  He did a gallic shrug and told me he had no idea. It was all his wife’s work. No surprises there then!  We will go back after lockdown and ask - maybe even get cuttings.  Beautiful plant.
