Study by fairy light.....

The grand plan was t head up Blackford Hill after work this evening for a tripod blipfest of the moon.

The howling gales and torrential rain put heed to that idea come 6pm.

Instead, we have a study, taken by the glow of fairy lights, and playing about with the macro lens, and putting the camera on manual - not as easy as you'd think.

In more exciting news, I used some Amazon vouchers and some birthday money and ordered myself a new lens - a 70-300mm one.

And finally, in less exciting news, I think I'm getting a cold.
