Beach Art....

Started a new painting today!   the very first layer is always so exciting, so possible....and i always feel exhilarated at this early stage!   So much can go south after this....anyway, i'm having another attempt at starting with a sketch and moving forward!  Just to be clear, this is just the very beginning sketch...it'll morph so much in the next few days!

A woman in our community has started a sort of 'family' take out business!  We all suffer here in our little community, no take out, no restaurants open so, she has decided to do home cooked meals (on a large scale) and make them available to the community.   I picked up our bbq 1/2 chicken, roasted potatoes, spinach salad with maple syrup dressing, plus chocolate chip cookies this evening, for a very reasonable $22, at the local masonic hall....just had to heat it up in the oven and there we have it, dinner!!!  She plans to do this a couple of times a week!  i love her entrepreneurial spirit!   i was getting pretty bored with my limited dinner offerings!
