Pink in Mono

It's a good thing it's Flower Friday, or I still wouldn't have thought about what day of the week it is.  I've been wanting to get out and capture some of the flowering tree blossoms, and have been waiting until Friday.  The conditions were perfect - cloudy, and right after a night of rain.  Fortunately, the petals didn't seem to be affected and the majority are still on the dogwood trees.  This is a pink dogwood, but I kind of like the shot better in mono.  I've added the original as an extra.  Happy Flower Friday!  Thank you, Anni, for hosting!
