Making the most of a beautiful day

Decided to get in the car to take the doggies for a walk in Broxa Forest. Managed to get my steps in, over 16,000 for the first time in ages. The views over Harwood Dale and Lang dale were amazing, beautiful clear sky but could see there was a fret over the coast.

Saw a pair of finches and managed a shot of a butterfly , Stanley was true to form and found a muddy stream to paddle in.

Sat and had a cup of coffee and a scone before getting back in the car. Stopped off and picked up some eggs at the farm in Broxa. We were greeted by a small terrier, after putting the eggs into the car he jumped in with me.

On the way home we stopped off at the river to give Stanley a bit of a wash.

We are all a bit tired tonight so an early night for us.
