Caught Napping?

Ollie dog and I were in the far corner of the field this morning when I caught sight of a fox in the opposite corner. I had time to put Ollie on the lead and take eleven shots before it bounded away. Ollie didn't spot it as it was quite distant. I don't think it's old Reynard or the female Hermeline. I'm wondering if it has a problem with its eyes. They look a bit watery. Ollie is very keen to sniff around MrQ's old office shed under which Hermeline raised a skulk of pups last year.
