River of Flowers

Friday: Watching & Listening...

Today’s Garden Hero ... is the Jersey Walking Stick Kale, still flowering, still feeding our pollinators even if is looking very raggedy. First blipped 24th February, 2 months ago - https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/2678722227825807269 - I really hope it sets seed!
Watched our busy little wren, “Dryw bach” in Welsh - so tiny, so busy & incredibly noisy and aggressive for such a small creature. It disappears amongst the flowers in pots, scratches in the dried moss on the walls and is soooo busy! :-))
At the same time, heard, then saw about 8 noisy geese which were heading for the village.
Quite a few white butterflies around.
Fascinating piece on BBCRadioCymru Aled Hughes’s slot (about 10:30am) about the Welsh who built Liverpool.
Beginning of Ramadan.
Nice chat with Jo and The Sailor this evening xx
Stay healthy and happy everyone :-)
Nos da pawb / goodnight all xx
