D3 <-> 3 down

We tried the crossword from 11 March. We got 9 across and 2 down, but no more. We solved the codeword, though.

Yesterday, I ordered us both some vitamin D3 , which is the form (as opposed to vitamin D2) we make when exposed to the sun, tablets because the NHS recommends it with all this staying-at-home malarkey, and I don’t want us to get rickets (or rather, osteomalacia, because we’re not children). It arrived today.

The source of this vitamin D3 is lichen. It’s the lowest dose I could find: vitamin D is lipid-soluble, which means it stays in the body for longer, so it’s possible to overdose.
