Cliche

I know .. but this really is the last rose of summer.

My focus now is still digging up the couch in the back garden, and trying to diminish the never-ending, and vast seas of soursobs that are emerging.  (It's a form of oxalis, brought in to South Australia as a garden plant in the late 19th Century). Now it's one of the worst winter weeds we get.  It's an annual but propagates from bulbs - and if you don't get the bulb out, so matter how tiny, it will re-emerge bigger and stronger next year.  Trust me, I know.

If only we could get our time over - just think of the mistakes that could be avoided - and no doubt different mistakes made.
