Stand at dawn - for ANZAC Day

We had our morning walk at 6 o'clock and walked to the garden of memories in the dark where a handful of people were having their own dawn service for ANZAC day.
Because of lockdown all dawn services, commemorations and parades were call off but New Zealanders were encouraged to stay within our bubbles and stand at our letterbox, front door, balcony or in our gardens at dawn and observe a minute silence as an act of quiet remembrance of all service men and women past and present.
