MUCH excitement in the Macdonald household as we had a new visitor to the garden - a sparrowhawk. Maybe a common sight for many but a first for us! So beautiful. And amazing to have a bird of prey sitting happily for ages in a town garden - s/he must have sat there for at least half an hour, so I was able to grab my DSLR and take so many pictures.
