ANZAC Day...

like no other.  For the first time in history Anzac services were cancelled due to the current situation.  Instead we were asked to pay our respects by standing at the end of our drive, in our doorway or in our lounge at 6am. Up and down the country we were united, apart.  Neighbours stood opposite, and at a distance, anthems and the Last Post played, and pink tingued the sky as dawn broke.  A very moving and poignant tribute.
Lest we Forget :  They shall not grow old as we grow old. Age shall not weary them nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning we will remember them.
