A Late Season Flourish

I did not examine these daffodils too closely. From where I took the picture they still look fine an very colourful. Maybe closer inspection might have revealed they were starting to feel a little tired.

A pleasantly warm and sunny day. Quite a few cars around. I wonder where they are all going and why.
