Hoverfly

This hoverfly, high up on Kinnoull Hill, helpfully paused above a bush several times. From a distance it looked more like a bee than the usual wasp-like hoverflies I see in the garden.

It was a first outing for my newly bought MC-20 teleconverter. It increases my zoom lens to 300mm (the equivalent of 600mm full frame). It won't be as good as Olympus's 300m prime lens. However the latter is far too expensive for me, especially given the amount of use I'd give it, and I am very pleased with the results so far.
