Day 34 - memento

We have been starting the process of clearing Derek’s house - which is tricky at the moment because we can’t take anything anywhere - I brought this model of Huddersfield Station home with me as a memento. Derek was station master there in the 70s. Sarah brought a Mickey Mouse toothbrush holder, and David brought a marble egg and egg cup. Isn’t it funny what little things have significance attached to them? John brought, among other things, a cheesegrater that he can remember was in use 50 years ago. It was a good day with lots of laughing and happy memories.
