Mainly white

Another beautiful day. I am blessed to be in the splendid isolation of this landscape and MrsW, locked down, tending new shoots amongst her wisteria and roses. Why is the world so unfair to some? 
Enough of this wistfulness. We took our cat, Angel, to the vets to have her anal glands unblocked this week. Under lockdown rules we deposited her outside  in her box and stepped back to allow the vets to open their door and take her in, just like a spy exchange at Checkpoint Charlie. Five minutes later she was popped back out to us. We paid over the phone from the carpark. No consultation so a meagre £5 to pay. They didn't even charge us for cleaning where she had pebble dashed the treatment room wall. They are wonderful vets.
