A walk on the wild side!

                                    (backblip)

As the weather man had mentioned the chance of some heavy showers for Sunday ..... we decided to have our walk today (Saturday) ..... just in case!

So once brother's washing was done & returned ..... we set off up the road! Such a shame we can't go further at the moment ..... it would have been a lovely day to head off to one of the reserves further away ..... but not allowed during the lockdown unfortunately!

Not that we really missed out as we saw lots of wildlife!

We watched a Kestrel hunting ..... saw a Greenfinch .... Robin ...... Blackbirds ...... Swallows ...... Chaffinch ........ heard lots of birdsong including the Chiffchaff ...... a Dunnock & a Skylark :-)

We also stood listening to this beautiful Whitethroat singing away on the wire & the Yellowhammer singing in the tree :-)

We watched this bee busily working his was around the sweet nettles & saw lots of lovely blossom ..... hope you like my choices :-)

There were a few butterflies fluttering about including our first sighting of a male Orange Tip ...... although he didn't hang around for a photo shoot!

Pleased we decided to go today :-)

Hope you are all having a Tigger-tastic weekend ..... stay safe :-)

Hope to get caught up with you all today ..... sorry if I miss you!
