SNAFU

Due to a scheduling SNAFU, I arrived at work at 08:00 and was asked to come back at 15:00 which allowed me six hours photo-time. Unfortunately the weather was against me, so I spent the time wandering from covered venue to covered venue (mostly coffee shops!) - very enjoyable, though.

This regimental flag hangs in St Anne's Cathedral, and the gold embroidered sections have the names of the battles in which that British Army regiment fought. Unfortunately, I don't know which regiment it is.
I liked the way the light caught it. A very poignant reminder of those thousands of young men who lost their lives in wars across the years.

Dulce et decorum est...pro patria mori.
