Swan on the pond

Mrs Swan is busy sitting on her nest in the small nature reserve ..... sadly, last year they had no cygnets ..... hope this year will be better.

For the first time we have two nesting swans ..... one on the island in the middle of the loch and the other, the incomer, in the wee nature reserve. It will be interesting to see what happens when the eggs hatch.

Meanwhile this prospective dad is paddling around the nature reserve annoying the Canada Geese who get in his way. Swans look beautiful and graceful but they can be very aggressive.
