Quilt phase 5 and 6

The left hand picture is the finished top of the quilt and the right hand picture is the reverse of the quilt, laid out before I stitched it together yesterday afternoon. Yesterday evening I sewed them together with the wadding, and also “stitched the ditches”!

Today I have squared the quilt off and just need to finish the bias binding this evening. Not bad for a week’s work!  Hard work, but I have learnt a lot. I didn’t make too many mistakes, but lots of learning before the next one. 

I need to do some functional chores next though!
