Sourdough starter

It seems rather conventional to make sourdough bread nowadays, as everyone is doing it. You will have seen a number of pictures of loaves. So here is a close-up of a sourdough starter, 8 days old. The extra shows a loaf. The loaf is not quite right, because it should have bigger holes in it - possibly I made the dough too dry. Anyway, it certainly tastes OK.
