Mate!

I dug my chess game out of the cupboard the other day (came across it while searching for a large cowbell; and it’s a classic right enough with a solid 32k memory) and have been trying to remember how to play. I was just thinking I’d have to lower the difficulty setting, being consistently thrashed by the thing, when I came up with a win on the back of an ambitious rook sacrifice. Ha! No more raging at the machine, I just have to be tricky or lucky or both.
Seemed to be a lot more people out and about and a lot more traffic today. The hint of an easing in restrictions and some folk are off the leash! Hope they are all lucky.
