Amazing day

Another long walk, found the feral lilac and walked for another five miles over the hill opposite Langrish and back across the top of Park Hill.  Stunning weather, stunning views and we sat for a while watching 4 red kites wheeling around and then spotted this on the hill opposite.  It looked extraordinary in the low evening sun.  Vik made a beautiful chicken dinner  - but it was Ottolenghi so took longer than he thought  (I heard him yelling ‘no I am not chopping capers Ottolenghi’)  and had a Houseparty call with his brother and family in New York. I talked to B and C on FaceTime at the same time.  C has managed to be promoted which is impressive given everything.
