You Have Left Some Big Boots To Fill

Every now and then a horse of a lifetime comes along and Johnny was mine...12 years together, sometimes challenging, but always rewarding. At times it was me and him against the world and all the horse eating tractors we came across. He taught me so much and everyone who met him loved him and he loved them. He enjoyed his last few years of retirement being pampered, massaged and generally being spoilt rotten at a local college. I got the phone call yesterday to say that he was losing weight and condition and so today he had to be put to sleep due to an ongoing issue with his leg that meant he could not be pain free.

RIP and sleep well my friend, you have left some big boots to fill.
