now the turn of the apple blossom to burst forth.

A short trip out in the car today but other than that a day mainly in the garden and greenhouse planting out and getting the tomatoes in their grow bags now the first flowers are forming.

Watched the BBC4 programme tonight in Pain, Pus and Poison. This was the pus section with Dr Michael Mosley entertaining us with the development of antibiotics and the eradication of the smallpox virus. Fascinating and the closing section was prophetic. The programme was made in 2013. Well worth a watch today if you have not seen it - but preferably not just after dinner!
