Prayers for dogs

I'm not one for praying generally. My nephew J brought the prayer flags for me in Nepal last year and I hung them on the verandah out front.

Today I prayed for peace to whatever god or spirit might care to listen. Prayed for a peaceful resolution to the issue of creating a dog proof fence.

An idea came to me today which leaves the tricky neighbour out of the equation altogether but still creates a dog safe place for Ruby on the rare occasions where I might need to leave her home alone. So I think my prayers were answered.

All the good folk who helped in starting yesterday's effort are thanked from the bottom of my heart and I hope they will forgive me the unnecessary work they did in the rain.
