Silver Birch

This photo was taken in the little patch of woodland where I go for a run. There is a circular path that is a mile and a half long, and the silver birches grow about half way round. Its hard to see silver birch without thinking of Klimt paintings, and I just love the patterns on the bark that remind me of eyes or old wise owls.
