Minds Alive

Lockdown is presumably the perfect place to revisit some of those books you've not read in years. To whit, 'Lanark' - a good example insofar as I recall it as being brilliant (hence the half-a-shelf of books I own by Alistair Gray) but can't remember much about it actually beyond it's vivid setting of a dystopian version of Glasgow called Unthank. Anyway, it took me forty or fifty pages to get into it but now I'm hooked - I'd forgotten quite how mad it was; a dizzying journey around the inside of the narrator's head...
