Book finished

Early walk, monthly accounts, other paperwork, got frustrated because the fencer didn’t turn up until 8:15. Few jobs around the house and kept looking out of the side window to try and see how the fencing was progressing but no clear view.
He finished just before 2 pm and called it a day. He is booked to do some repairs next door so will be back tomorrow, not in our garden though, the gate is locked and car back on drive.
I have a few pages left to read and want to finish before bed. New book arrived Monday and I can’t wait to start it, Lockdown by Peter May.
Hubby says this plant that has suddenly come into bud is called London Pride, but sometimes he makes up names because he knows I have no idea what it is.
