Along the Bank

We took a very short drive to the River Avon car park this morning. It was raining so we sat in the car for a little while watching the ducks until it eased off a little. We had a nice walk along the Riverside, there were not many people due to the inclement weather. I spotted a couple of long-tailed tits in a tree and a hovering kestrel, but didn't see the scrapping crow and heron I saw last time. Proud Mother Duck and her brood of five offspring were happily splashing around in the rain and the river. The Horse Chestnut trees are in full blossom.
