Queen of the Day

My very good friend chrissel in Germany sent me (and mum) this FAB card! She pointed out, very wisely, that what if this poodle has visited the Dog (Not) Oasis equivalent too often, since she apparently has turned white!! Uh. Oh. I will keep that in mind and remind mum what can happen. Does she want me to go white?? Excellent point! Thank you chrissel! 

Today is Valborg, a Swedish holiday to celebrate the arrival of spring. Usually there are bonfires, choirs singing spring songs, speeches and student parties. As you all know, none of that will happen this year. We, and Grandma, watched the traditional choir concert at three o’clock but online. It was part zoom choir, part last year’s performance. Mum says everyone looked so happy and carefree then... 

We also want to say Happy 100th Birthday to Captain Tom Moore who raised over £32 million for the NHS! Inspirational!
