Westertoren

This is the bell tower (and part of a transept) of the Westerkerk, probably the finest looking church in Amsterdam. It's situated directly besides the Anne Frankhuis, where I had an appointment today with the professor who is tutoring my bachelor thesis, and who also works there. After our meeting she got me a ticket for free and I visited the museum for the first time. I think I liked (although 'liked' is of course odd to say in this context) best the original diaries that were on display, where you see Anne writing all these things -sometimes careless, sometimes sad- knowing what would happen in the end -transportation to the East.
