Today l went to Newlyn Harbour

Virtually of course!  I joined a group of people drawing the view from the live webcam overlooking Newlyn harbour.  So from the warmth of our own houses we spent a couple of hours watching the webcam view and drawing or painting from it... I had a marvellous time but wished I could have had some fish and chips when l had finished!!  It looked cold there... a thin little breeze ruffled the water in the foreground and the seagulls whirled overhead.  It was a chaotic scene and very difficult to depict in watercolour but in two hours plein aire en salle... l was happy. A new experience and one l will have to repeat!
