Charity Gold

It's fair to say that every time I flick through the records at a charity shop I always find something interesting or nostalgic. There's probably some statistical analysis that proves people like me donate so its no surprise people like me enjoy the serendipity of a quick browse.

Today, in 5 minutes before a meeting, I popped into an oxfam and found Yes, ELO, Lloyd Cole, Gary Numan and others I would've bought. Of particular delight was this by "Thrum", a small band from Glasgow (I think) that my wife befriended during the early 90s. They used to to kip on her flat floor when they came down to London. I don't think they "made it" so it's extra special to find something by them.
