Didn't it rain!!

Was not expecting the downpour we had today.  Even the Ceanothus
(Californian lilac), which was just turning blue, looked downtrodden.

Wantage Lake (as we like to call the pond in the road outside our house) made a spectacular re-appearance after an absence of a few week.

However, Child No 2 (the key worker) also turned up; and left flowers and chocolate on the doorstep.  Definitely the favourite (for the moment)!
