A rose for May Day

These roses looked lovely in the early morning sun even though they are pretty much past their best.

In extras is a picture of Miss Ivy wondering what the cows are!  I blipped Miss Perdie in almost the same pose in April 2018 (link below if you're interested).   Perdie was a couple of months older than Ivy is now and interestingly spring looks a lot less advanced than it does this year after all the lovely sunshine we've had.
