swamp

A tiny piece of protected wilderness surrounded by a dense built-up area in an otherwise highly cultivated country. Not even two minutes walk from where I live and I hardly ever go there. Mainly because I don't want to disturb the tranquility of the place.

I was to late to catch the heron with, what I suspected, a frog in it's beak. Somewhere in the middle left of the picture there are two ducks.
