May flowers

We went for a long walk through a lovely spring forest, everything was fresh and green. We had some rain over the last few days, which helped a bit. But it’s still too dry. On our walk we didn’t meet anybody, although usually on the first of May, a lot of people take a wander in the nature as we put it, to welcome May. But this year people apparently stayed home (well the weather wasn’t too good). No beer gardens open, no barbecues....
We were lucky, though, and discovered these Lilies of The Valley on our way back, very punctual for the first day of May.
