From humble beginnings

A moss, a mundane moss. Really?? I'm a moss fan. Their variety, the way they act as 'platforms' for other plants, their carpets in forests and their adornment of rocks blow me over. With a 20x lens (hand lens not camera) their detail is amazing. And the savvy way some have of hunkering down (lockdown?) in dry spells and reviving with rain...wow.
