We are gathered here today
to give thanks for the sky.
Let us praise its blue vastness
and the variousness of its clouds.
Also, let those of us who possess
the ability to fly
take a moment to appreciate
our feathers and our powerful wings.
Members of the congregation whose feet
are forever rooted to the ground
may occupy their minds with other things.
