Switzerland in Spring

Oh how I wish I was there to see once again these tiny Snowbells ( Soldanella alpina) pushing their pretty flowerheads through the melting snow.

But alas it cannot be so I have had to recreate the scene on my dining room table.

The Soldanella grew in a stone trough on my patio here in Arnside. But I have had to create the snow ( more like a sharp hailstorm I think), to bring back those happy memories.

This Blip is dedicated to Hilary of Hilary’s View who brings us such wonderful blips of the Swiss Alps and their flora and fauna, she was one of the first to welcome me to Blip almost six years ago and I am delighted that we have welcomed her in Arnside,
