Daisies are delicious!

Hoping to see one or two goslings this morning ..... not disappointed .... there was a family of ten Greylag goslings possibly just a day or two old.

The male swan was looking rather interested in the little brood so other Greylags quickly came to help protect the little family. I'll go up tomorrow before church and hope to find that all ten are still there.

It was a lovely morning but by lunchtime the clouds had rolled in. The recent dry spell kept the weeds at bay but since we've had some rain the weeds have just shot up .... so just before lunch I donned my gardening gloves and set to.
