A bend in the path

We set off relatively early as it was a nice day and we wanted to avoid the crowds.  However obviously not early enough.  The canal path was really busy with cyclists, runners and dog walkers so it was difficult to stop and enjoy the view.  We watched a heron for a bit and saw it take off, but sadly not with the camera ready fast enough!

A little bit of artistic licence here.   The path actually heads left but I've flipped it to draw the eye.
