It’s Back

My favourite fungus (if it is possible to have a favourite) is back. Dryads Saddle. Seems to be bigger and more widespread than in previous years. It grows incredibly quickly and is a monster when fully grown.

I cut some of our abundant rhubarb and put it into a bucket and stood it by the end of the drive with a notice to ‘help yourself’...it went within a couple of hours...I guess there will be a few crumbles on the dinner table this weekend!

Cut the grass again..the little bit of rain we had has boosted it!
