In a desperate attempt to get something more interesting than a photo of a kettle, I took the camera to the pub with me. Some lovely photos were taken, but alas, mostly not by me - I have a friend who has been playing around with cameras for considerably longer than I have.

Said friend also set the camera to shoot in RAW. So I spent this evening finding a program that could open them, and working out what the difference between RAW and JPEG actually is.

(It's back in JPEG for now. I don't think I'm in the right frame of mind to learn things today.)
