Flat backed millipede

I visited mum and dad this morning and was greeted with a fabulous early birthday present! They did ask if I wanted to wait until my birthday but there was really no chance of that. Looking forward to sharing many more insect pics with a canon macro lens!!!

We cycled home and the rest of the day was spent taking photos - I might have to adorn all the days I’ve missed with a selection...
